Hi, I’m Allison! I’m an experienced Software Engineer, with a with a demonstrated history of working in the computer software industry, and a passion for creating innovative user experiences. Recent experience includes implementing AI/ML-driven features across the entire software stack. Frontend experience in React, TypeScript, Javascript, and HTML/CSS, and backend experience in C++, Python, Objective-C, and Java. In my free time, I enjoy rock climbing, hiking, and being outside with my two dogs, Koda and Indy. When I’m not outdoors you can usually find me curled up with a good book, watching a show, or working on a 3D print.

- A founding member of the Digital Video and Audio group’s applied machine learning team, responsible for the incorporation of AI/ML functionalities into Creative Cloud’s video-related applications, primarily Premiere Pro, and revolutionizing video editing with features such as Auto Reframe and Text Based Editing.
- Specializes in building user experiences with React, Typescript, and HTML/CSS, while also ensuring seamless feature implementation across the entire software stack, including backend contributions in C++, Python, and Objective-C.
- Acts as a bridge between design, product management and engineering, to evaluate technical constraints, propose viable solutions, and participate in decision-making processes, with a passion for ensuring that the user experience is not only feasible, but also delightful.

- Over the course of a summer internship, undertook the responsibility of creating a standalone Python prototype for an AI/ML-driven video feature.
- Successfully developed a robust Python prototype showcasing the envisioned AI/ML video feature.
- Went above and beyond by not only completing the standalone prototype but also integrating a proof of concept into Premiere Pro itself. Showcasing the feasibility and potential impact of the AI/ML feature in a real-world, industry-standard application.
- Internship project was selected to be featured at Adobe’s yearly worldwide conference, Adobe Max, as one of their “Sneaks.” This recognition highlighted the innovation and significance of the AI/ML feature, providing a sneak peek at an in-development feature to a global audience and industry experts.

- Initiated a frontend refactoring project aimed at enhancing the clarity and usability of the internal website. Through strategic refactoring and improvements to the user interface, successfully increased the website’s overall efficiency and user satisfaction.
- Created a comprehensive test suite to facilitate the seamless migration of team services to Amazon Web Services (AWS). The test suite ensured rigorous testing of individual microservices and their interactions, minimizing potential issues during the migration process and ensuring a smooth transition to the cloud.
